Below vehicles are being brought to the show by Terence Tully.
The red and silver bike with a roof is a BMW C1. Made from 2000 to 2003, and came with a Rotax 125cc or 176cc engine, The 125 being learner legal. Pretty much half a car! It has twin cross over seat belts, heated seat and handlebars, windscreen washers and wipers, integrated sound system and several other car related accessories.
The black C1 is owned by Steve Owen from Wednesbury and should also be attending. If carrying a passenger the large backbox is removed and the seat fitted in it’s place. Which means the passenger is on the outside while the rider is inside protected from poor weather!
The bright orange “wedge of cheese” is a 1973 Bond Bug three wheeler. Originally made by Bond, but later taken over by Reliant and built in Tamworth. Approximately 2300 were built so after 43 years there are very few now on the road. The previous owner did a full ground up restoration on it prior to me purchasing it. The mini Bond Bug is actually a towable trailer built to look similar to the larger car.
